Hi is anyone else having their toddler banging their heads on their headboards?? My daughters (2 & 4) share bunk beds. The youngest isn't always hitting her head and the oldest always ends up with her head right up against the hard wood of the headboard!
Does anyone else get this?
I've put pillows behind their heads but inevitably they fall at some point on their heads in the middle of the night (they are squirmy sleepers!)
Could I tie on a cushion pad?
What do others do??
Thanks x

Does it actually bother them? If they aren't waking up bothered by it then you don't need to do anything.

The youngest one cries. She's 2 so is pretty squirmy before she sleeps and had a pretty sharp knock on the head yesterday...! :dohh:

I would just move them down in the beds a bit more. They will still move around and probably hit their heads occasionally, but it won't be hard enough to do any harm and it will probably pass eventually. I'd be more comfortable with that than piling in the pillows which might cover their faces at night. I do remember mine going through a really active phase when she hit her head a bit, but then it passed and we haven't had any problems really since. She's been in her bed for 2.5 years now.

I wouldn't tie anything to it, I don't like the idea of anything that could cause strangulation being in or near a bed.

I would just pull the pillow further down the bed.
