Hard low cervix at 5 weeks?

I have read that your cervix is supposed to be high and soft but mine is kinda low and really hard, I am about 5 weeks. Is this normal?

Who told you that? My cervix is hard and low and I am 12.5 weeks so it all depends on your body and cervix. Its an individual thing really.

Thank you for your reply! I was looking it up online and other pregnacy forums and they keep saying that your cervix should be high and soft.

No I don't think its the case. My baby is perfectly healthy and growing well and I have no medical issues except for a bit of inflammation down there but a low hard cervix, I don't think means anything negative As long as its high and soft by week 40

My cervix was very very low in early pregnancy. And it's moved up later on. I wouldn't worry about it!

I had the same thing around 5 weeks. Low and hard. But its gotten higher now that I'm 9 weeks. I read that everyone is different with how far along they are when it gets higher and softer.

Mine is low and I too always read it should be high and soft! Mine is hardish not squashy soft but not rock hard x

I have not gone anywhere near my cervix and neither has anyone else lately so why the need? Is this a different countries thing again :O
