Okay, this is a long shot, but does anyone remember what the wrapping looked like when Harry got his cloak of invisibility? I don't own the movie (or at least I won't until it's opened tomorrow) so I can't go look at the footage. I can't find it anywhere online either. For my step-son's birthday tomorrow I am giving him Harry Potter themed gifts. It's one of our things we watch and play together. I got him the UK version of the Blu Ray, even though I live in America, because I can't stand that they changed the Philosopher's Stone to Sorcerer's Stone for Americans. I got him Tales of Beetle the Bard and it has the story of the Three Brothers... the story of the deathly hallows. So I also got him all three deathly hallows, one of which is a handmade invisibility cloak replica. But I want to present it to him similar to how it was wrapped in the movie. (I am a dork, I know). Does anyone have a better memory than me? Or even if you found a picture that would be great because I have been looking and finding nothing. Thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure it's a plain silver wrapping paper. Only picture I can find is here https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-C1LuBpP9KQM/U5B5LgU_6TI/AAAAAAAABAY/t6y7lGqGu9s/s1600/maxresdefault.jpg

THANKS! I ended up buying brown paper wrapping from the dollar store. I'm going to use tie twine around it. I'm getting so excited about these gifts. I'm probably more excited than he will be, unless my Potter-headness has rubbed off one him. He seen all but the very last movie. So I know he will be happy about owning the films. I just hope he likes the rest of the gifts

I'm just so giddy about these gifts! haha

His ceiling is covered with glow in the dark stars. When he was a baby his father mapped it out and made the actual night sky with stickers and stuff to be a scaled down replica of the constellations and planets. So I thought it would be a cute play on "the cabinet under the stairs" to say "the loft bed under the stars"

LOVE those presents..

Pretty sure from memory that it was silver paper!

Hope your son enjoys his presents.

Pressies look great I live the text you've used on the parcel it looks just like the movie!

Thanks! I tried going for that. It took me forever!! I was originally just drafting it on a piece of paper and was going to write it directly on the package. I was going to put our address and everything, just like the letters from Hogwarts. But it proved to be very tedious so I just wrote those 2 things and cut it out, then glued it on haha. It worked just fine! I really am such a Harry Potter geek. I'm okay with it not being exactly like the movie packaging. I figure if I didn't remember, and I have seen it countless times, then he won't either. And he'll appreciate the lettering hopefully. I can't wait to give them to him tomorrow and see the look on his face! Especially when he gets the box-set and realizes he can finally watch the last movie. He doesn't know how it ends yet ;)

Those presents are amazing! Hope he has a good day tomorrow :)
