Have I been kidding myself?

have I been kidding myself that this is a viable pg?
my lmp was 23rd March, and i ov on 15th April... putting me somewhere between 5-6 weeks, early scan yesterday showed an empty sac but hgc levels of 4000 to be repeated tomorrow, my fear is that this is a blighted ovum.. could i be right?
Just have to play the waiting game, i was so optimistic yesterday but dont know if it was just wishful thinking

5 weeks is still VERY early to see anything, your HCG levels are high so fingers crossed they will be even higher tomorrow!

i know i shouldnt but ive googled it and they say your level increase with blighted ovum! just dont know what to think

I think you can still hope. I ovulated april 8th and on tuesday of this week, this is what we could see. as you can tell, its not much. dont lose hope, you should be about a week behind me based on your ov date so you wouldnt be able to see much at all. My ov date puts me at 6 weeks (us done on 5+5) which would make you just barely 5 weeks.

levels are now 7000 and something, the epu said they havent quite doubled which made me think something was wrong and have another scan on wed
