Have you and your oh had this talk?

We had this conversation about 2 years ago. We decided that if we split up, circumstances permitting we would spend equal amounts of time with her but that she would be in my custody and she would live with me etc.

We split 18 months ago and we stuck to the above. Kyla stays with her dad on a sunday, wednesday and thursday night. The only days he does not see her are tuesday and saturday.

Things would more or less be the same I guess, without the relationship part. DH is adamant he'd keep what he needed to live on and give everything to me.

No we haven't, but then again I don't think we will ever split up!

Yes, and we are in agreement that a child's interests lie with the mother and the two should never be separated.

We have yes and also had it with both sets of parents so they know what we want to happen when we separate so the one doesn't think the other is being malicious- we have all agreed to what we decided.

No we haven't and would never have that conversation we don't belive in divorce my oh wouldn't even have tge conversation.

No, as I would not have got married if i had to think about breaking up.

Obvio i have no idea what the future wil hold, so knowing that i dont see how the conversation would help, as i have no idea who would have money/house/ health/support.

My dad brought me up after my he and my mum split when i was 4 months old, so im not one to think mother is best.

We have. I agreed that I wouldn't take Alex back to California without his consent and stay in the UK. He would probably see Alex three times a week and on the weekends. I think as a PP stated, you have to when the parents come from different countries.

I think in the UK you can't legally take the child out of the country without the dads consent anyway. This is the case for my oh and his son as he's on the birth certificate, x

Yep we have. Brooke would stay with me and I would have main custody and then make an agreement with her Dad that mutually suited x

No. But I'm a second wife and DH has 15 year old daughter, so I know how it would go. I would have Holly live with me, but he would see her as much as he could, same as with SD.

My OH would go for full custody he's already told me He wouldn't get it but I'll let him think that because it'll never happen anyway
