Sorry you're dealing with this
I'm a chronic migraine sufferer, been on every med, tried every injection, every treatment, etcetc... I had over a week of GLORIOUS migraine-free time upon getting pregnant, but am just coming off of a three-day escapade myself. Trust me, I know migraines. And I'm sorry you're suffering... Have you been treated in the past or is this a new thing for you?
Here is what I've been told in terms of how to manage them while pregnant... I was VERY concerned before getting pregnant about how I would fare.
- Tylenol with codeine
- caffeine
- Diclectin will help with the nausea, or gravol
That's it. If you're really sick with it, go to the hospital and they will give you IV fluids and meds to help the vomiting.
My go-to is ice packs. Lay on the OPPOSITE side of the migraine. Tell yourself over and over that it is temporary. It will go away. It may take a couple/few days, but it will go away. It may only take part of a day. If migraines are new to you, I can imagine it would be scary. But honestly, it will go away. It's torture, but it will not kill you.
I know how horrendous this is to deal with. I'm sorry you're suffering
