Hayfever meds?

I suffer from really bad hayfever, but am not sure if there are any meds that are safe to take when ebfing?

Stalking! I need to know this too Thinking of asking a pharmacist tomorrow. The breastfeeding network website also has info on safe meds for bfing - I must check on there.

If there isn't anything then you can take all the usual non medicinal solutions - dont dry clothes and bedding outside, shower and change your clothes when you get in, wear sunglasses when out, smear vaseline inside your nostrils etc. I also think there's some herbal remedies, but not sure - I ought to ask in holland and barrett too.

One tip is to put Vaseline round the inside of your nose it does make a difference but only before symptoms iykwim x

Looks like eyedrops, nasal sprays and non drowsy anti histamines are all fine, hooray for that

Hi, I asked my doctor last week and she checked her "bible" and said Loratadine and Certrizine are safe to take( in as much as any med is safe whilst breastfeeding.) She said that there are no associated risks with them that are registered. She did point out that they will transfer to the milk.
I picked mine up from my local supermarket - 99p for 14 tablets. I've been taking them since the appt and it's making my life easier!!
