HCG levels and gender????

I came across a study that stated that hcg levels are a reliable predictor of gender. That the higher the HCG is correlated with a female and a lower with a male!!!
Anyone can vouch for this study with their personal experience... I already have a girl and would LOVE a boy.... I found out my hcg at 4 weeks 1 day was 467, I think that lends itself to another girl! I don't know, crossing my fingers its not predictive, lol. What do you guys think?

Ooh....I never knew my hcg levels but my tests were very dark....I tested the day my period was due and didn't have to wait for the lines to show up etc...And I'm having a girl....not sure if that's related at all!?

I got a bright positive at 9 DPO with DD, so I was wondering the same thing. Got another 9 DPO BFP with this one (6 days before my period was due); curious to see if it's another girl!

My test at 5 weeks were 8500 .....i feel the same as i did with dd !! Could be another girl x

With dd, 14 dpo was 128, 16 dpo was 370, 20dpo was 14,826..
This time 9dpo 12, 14 dpo 428, much higher and faster doubling time vs dd.. so maybe another girl???

Mine was 679 at 17dpo and 1670 at 19dpo. We did ivf so wondered if it was twins as was quite high. But just one baby, so wondering if its a girl!! I did google this though and came across lots of people with high hcg who ended up having boys.
