HCG of 69 at 6 weeks pregnant. It's all over isn't it?! *UPDATE - Increase to 89*

Think I belong here. Don't feel ready to post in misscarriage support.

Been experiencing bleeding (one wipe of red, then brown spotting for a week) and fading pregnancy tests. Had my HPT measured today and is 69 at 6 weeks pregnant. I've been told the pregnancy is not viable, but having levels measured again on Friday to see what is happening.

I know levels can be low and you can still go on to have a healthy baby, but I think mine are too low to hope for that.

Will be waiting it out here until Friday, when I guess I'll move over to the miscarriage support thread.

So so sorry to hear that you are going through this. The ladies on miscarriage support are lovely and I'm sure can offer you advice and a shoulder to cry on shiuld u need them. i have to admit your bloods don't sound promising, but there's always hope. Xxx

Thank you! My HCG have gone up to 89. Not a substantial enough increase, but going back Sunday for another blood test and a scan to see what is happening.

So sorry but be sure to rule out ectopic pregnancy as it often plays tricks like that.
