My little guy's heartbeat has always been above 140 usually in the 150's, so I don't believe this old wives tales. I also had bad morning sickness which people kept telling me meant I was having a girl but the ultrasound at 20 weeks showed him to be a boy!
At 9 weeks the hb was 179 and at 12 weeks it was 169. That things about higher = more often in Ds babies freaks me out cause mine has always seemed so high to me.
well what would i be having then at my 13 week scan hb was 165 baby was sleeping then at my 16 week midwife it was 135 i was worried something was wrong but she said baby was just sleeping so i dont get it lol both times sleeping and sooooo different i find out in 8 more sleeps anyways i hope
Aw I posted something a few weeks ago, as I heard my babies heartbeat on Xmas eve and it was considerably slower than I remember my three girls being. I was convinced I was having a boy.....gender scan two weeks ago showed another girl! So I don't believe in these any more
Also, I had no morning sickness/nausea with my first two, moderate (both) with my third and bad nausea but no actual vomiting, with my fourth little girl, so far.....
I've heard the same, over 140 girl, under 140 boy ... Although, I'm having a boy and the only time his HB was under 140 was at 7 weeks right after the heart had formed so of course it was not quite as strong and it came back at 125. Since then, it's been around 142-145.
