Heinz Salad Cream?

Hi, can anyone tell me if its ok to eat Heinz Salad Cream? I was just putting some on my sandwich and noticed in the ingredients it says it contains 'egg yolks'. I know Hellmans Mayo is ok, and it clearly states 'pasteurised egg and yolks' on the jar, but what about the salad cream? Thanks

They're pasturised honey so yes it's fine. I recommend it on chips!! x

It's fine - I craved it all the way through first tri!! Salad cream with almost anything. With chips or wedges especially!!

What is salad cream? You guys are totally missing out over there! It's a sauce, like ketchup or bbq sauce but its creamy yellow and tastes AWESOME!

omg i cant stop eating clemantimes (dont know how u spell it), ive jus eaten 2 and want more i am really thirsty and i like the fact they got natural water in them. U can have salad cream yes, Can anyone tell me if i am allowed to drink steralised milk as i only like that kind and want to have some calcium.

It's similar to mayo only yellowish in colour and is slightly tangy due to the vingegar and and mustard. As SugarFairy says you are missing out, its fab! Thank goodness I can still eat it, salad wouldn't be the same without it!!!

I eat salad cream all the time, it's pasteurised so it's perfectly safe.

Yes you can drink sterilized milk as it's already been heated up to kill off the germs. The only milk you can't drink is unpasteurised.

It's not available in the US but I looked up some recipes and they all call for raw eggs. Does anyone know of a quick simple recipe for salad cream so I can whip it up using store-bought mayonnaise? Is it just mustard and vinegar and a little salt?

i really wish i could send u some now just so u can try it and know what it tastes like lol. Maybe ebay may be able to help might be the priciest bottle of heinze salad cream ever bought but at least u can give it a whirl, its got a tangy kick to it, its nice on chips (fries)

i dont have a clue how to make it sorry, see if u can buy any off ebay and get it shipped lol, i would just to try it, heinze is the best one
