Has anyone experienced long ovulation pains after the trigger shot? I had my trigger shot 9am Sunday morning and I can still fill the ovulation pains. Is this normal? I had my IUI yesterday and my FS told me that my follicles were mature but had not popped yet. How long does it really take to ovulate on the Ovidrel trigger? My fs told me within 48 hours but I want to hear from people who have actually taken the shot. Please let me know if you can. Thanks and good luck!!

I've always heard it was 36 hours after the shot, which would have put you at around 9pm yesterday.

The pain you are still feeling might just be from your ovaries being stimulated. I know mine ache a bit post-O since they are so stimulated from the meds.
