I've been married 10 years and we've been TTC since September 1999. I was finally diagnosed with PCOS December 2004 after 5 years of practically absent periods (blamed on my weight).
I've now lost 36lbs and am taking Metformin (since april 08 ). I've ovulated the past 2 months, which is HUGE for us! Unfortunately the second month we had to abstain from trying as I was waiting for a colonoscopy (which is happening tomorrow!!).
I've had 2 losses before I was married way back in 94 and 96, at 7 and 8 weeks gone. Then hubby and I had a loss in September 05 at only 5 weeks.
Our TTC journey is also complicated by the fact I have vaginismus, which is the involuntary spasm of the vaginal msucles when attempting intercourse. Because of this, we are TTC using a syringe. We managed to conceive this way in 2005
I am married to my best friend, and soul mate, and we have a happy loving home. Only thing missing is a baby for us to share it with
