Help... cycle confusion

My period has been late the last 2 months, both times by about 5/6 days. Before this I was the normal 28 day cycle and it was like clock work. I'm having a hard time predicting cycle length because of all this. Does it reset back to the original 28? Or extend to the 33/34 days? I do not temp,'only use a few different apps for period and symptom tracking. One app says it should be the 28 days and the other has extended it to 34. I'm on CD 20 today and have had some light to medium spotting for the last 5 days. Just trying to understand what's going on...

Use opks and your period will come from 11 to 14 day after you positive opk mostly 14 day .. i had the same with my period after my miscarriage i only know its next date after i ovulate i count 13 day and then its my AF new date

Oh! Do you use opks everyday after the end of your period?

I usually wait until cd 7 to start opks. It's been the only way for me to understand my cycles because they have been so weird after coming off bc.
