So, hello ladies! Some of you have welcomed me already, which I appreciate greatly, thank you very much for the warmth.
I know in a previous post of mine I declared this being my first cycle of TTC. This is the first time we ACTIVELY do this, with charts, temps, tests, etc. Hubby and I lost 3 pregnancies before, last one landed me in the hospital almost dead and we found out what was causing the losses (nasty autoimmune ITP, apparently related to my thyroid somehow).
After almost 3 years of marriage, and all the pain we suffered in the first year alone, we decided to do this with as many tools as we were provided by, say, other women!! People like you, that have children, want to have children, are in a situation similar, you know! People that are not as green as I am at this, I've read a lot from you and learned so much in the last few days you wouldn't even imagine!!
At the moment I'm on the right meds for my glands, I'm taking care of myself the best way possible and beyond, I've lost almost 80 lbs after being on steroids for 8 months (due to my ITP)...I was told pregnancy for me was impossible, by several several doctors. When I moved back to my hometown I found the best endocrinologist EVER and he said "No one can predict such a grim fate without testing the s**t out of you first" (I swear!).
So after a few months of being on the right track and having a REGULAR PERIOD (yes, omg!) we decided to take this seriously (even more) and give it a go.
I thought I ovulated between the 14th and the 18th (August)...but I kept BDing away just in case (and because it's fun!), being irregular and all I can't guarantee a 28 day cycle and I could never tell (again, I am still learning..).
The witch was suppose to show up on the 31st, 1st Sept absolute latest (or so I hoped..right?). Well, today being the 4th, I took my third pregnancy test. HPT, of course. The first one was invalid (frustration!!), the second one, last Thursday (the 2nd) was a BFN...today the story changed. I see the line, my mom who can barely see sees the line, hubby SKEPTICAL AS HE MAY BE sees the line.
Do you see this line? It's faint, yes, but the picture was taken pretty much as soon as I peed on it.
Am I just hoping here? I have a much better quality test waiting for a FMU tomorrow...hmmm. If I see something similar, or even if I see another negative, I am tempted to go get a blood test.
Thoughts, advices, comments, go ahead ladies, I'm in your hands!
PS: Two of my doctors took me off of 2 different meds due to the fact that they believe my symptoms (pretty much bang on every single thing described in the huge early symptoms thread, I'll go in detail later if you want) are pregnancy symptoms. Both of them are waiting on a HPT for a blood test order.
