HELP, LO Fussy at breast

Hey there ladies. I am a FTM with a 6 week old little boy. Over the last couple of days my LO has been very fussy at the breast. I am not sure whats going on. After latching on & off a few time he finally calms down and eventually eats. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if this is typical of a BF 6 weekold. This has been going on for 3-4 days. Some things that have changed recently but I am not sure if there is any correlation.

1. I started pumping & DH gives our LO a bottle at night
2. I have been using triple nipple ointment for my hurting nipples
3. DH stared giving LO a paci

I need to pump because I will be starting work soon, but I decided today to cut the ointment. Also, LO is still giving me a lot of wet/dirty diapers so I know he's getting enough...

Any advise/suggestions will be appreciated. TIA
