Hmm, condom managed to come off last night when we were having sex, gf is not on the pill so we'll need to get the morning after pill. She called the GP this morning but they were closed.

Anyway was wondering if GPs give you prescroptions for them or if you have to buy it yourself?

Family planning clinics give it free - though you have to ring up and arrange to go in. Boots sell it for about £20

most chemists sell it - for around 20 quid - i know lloyds chemist do tooo

Cost me £25 quid when I got it a few years ago. Best bet is either to get it from a doctor or a young persons places like connexions, that sorta thing.
I have no idea how they can charge so much!

Yes GP will give you perscription :)

Going to try the hospital tomorrow morning. Apparently there's a ward you can go to for emergency contraception.

Go as early as possible as the longer you leave it, the less effective it is

Nope, best taken within 12 hours
