Help please?

I posted a question the other day asking if I could possibly be pregnant after several BFN urine test and two BFN blood tests. I went to my gyno today for an official check up and she assured me I was just so late for AF because I had switched from depo to the pill then off the pill in a matter of months. I'm just wondering if I can actually get pregnant without ever having AF. Or do I need to have a cycle before I'm fertile again. I feel foolish asking this considering I'm not married but my boyfriend and I are ntnp
