Ok this is prob a stupid question but can we eat prawn toast?? We're getting a take away tonight and I reeeeeeally want some!!!

Everything's cooked, so I don't see why it would be a problem.

I have literally just finished my prawn toast!! It was delicious! I am assuming it was okay as it was properly cooked x

I hope so! I've been eating it the whole way through this pregnancy!

Thank youuuuuuu!!!!! :happydance: Been stopping myself from eating it for months now!! yum yum yummmm can't wait!! :D

Ah I love how small things make me the happiest person ever haha!

I've been eating it all along. As the others have said, cooked prawns are fine.

I thought it was under the category of shell fish which is why i thought it was a no-no but i wouldn't let that put me off :) for all the prawns that are on prawn toast lolx

hey, I think ppl get bit too obsessed with whats good or not for pregnancy.. before, women used to eat all what they had and babies were healthy or not.. thing is that, for example -it is said that peanuts may cause later allergy.. My friend she doesn't like peanuts at all, while she was pregnant she hasnt touched that stuff and her baby [now 5 yrs old] has super sensitive allergy on peanuts that half peanut may kill him.. Now, how is that to the theory that "if you eat peanuts your kid may develop an allergy?!".. I think, personally, you are either having baby with allergy or not, no matter what the hell you eat.. my mom [super old generation, born in '48] was born when there was nothing else to eat like vinegar, flour, cheap meat and eggs.. you had vegs if you were lucky!.. and she was perfectly healthy for her entire childhood.. till she met her hubby and got into alcoholism, which is another story.. when she was pregnant with me, her diet was mainly % and cigarettes, and I think I only has survived cause she had a blood conflict in her late pregnancy [Rh's differences] and had spent 2 last months in the hospital.. I was born tiny but, as far as i know, without any brain/body damage or deformation.. I DONT say we shall all stop caring what we eat.. im trying to get a point that sometimes its just worth to listen to your body and follow it.. I was vegan before I found out about the pregnancy; my partner asked me to eat everything for baby;s health, so I did.. but through my entire pregnancy I feel a huge need of eating vegetables and beans and all greens plus herbal teas.. I cant stand sweets or salty things,.. yogurt is too damn sweet, milk is disgusting.. and I know what most of you may say- its wrong what im doing, cause baby needs meat and milk and stuff.. in my opinion, I just follow what I feel is good for me,and supplying all vitamins through stuff my body calls for.. because we are all women and we have damn instinct what is and isnt good in this time.. so please, dont get too much into food drama details.. just trust yourself :)

Shellfish is not on the banned list, only raw shellfish!
