Help! Sudden Nipple pain!

I've been BF for almost 3 months and have never had any kind of pain. It started last night in one of my boobs really bad pain in my nipple and kind of a hot feeling when she feeds..it is still really painful today..this isn't good bc this is my fuller boob with the most milk ..the other one does not make much. I really don't want to have to stop but it is really bad pain. I felt around my boob to check for a sore spot in case it's a plugged duct but haven't found anything and no fever or chills for mastitis...anyone know what this could be and how to get it better?

Could it be thrush? I've never had it myself but I've heard it feels like the baby is sucking glass through your nipple
