Hi I have seen lots of people suggesting making hampers as presents and think it's a lovely idea. Anyone fancy sharing what they have put in theirs to give me some ideas. Thanks

we did a food hamper for dh nan last christmas she loved it, every week when we went shopping we got something when it was on offer, great things like, mince pies, christmas pudding, crackers and cheese, wine, chocolates, biscuits, tins the liost could go on we got most from asda but when i went into marks and sparks i would get offers there too, last year they did a christmas cake half price so we paid 3.50
Remember to look out for, best before dates

Or another idea, my brother in law made his dad one it was brill, he loves gardening so stocked up on all sorts of gardening bits x

good food cookies buns cake socks pictures beer in the pound shop go mad

Im doing the FIL and MIL a basket each with a bit of everything, I have a bottle of wine each, some chocolates, smellies, slippers, socks, some nice hot chocolate

I have done various hampers in the past.

I did a cheap bath one using two gift sets from poundland which when put together in baskets looked brilliant.

I have done retro sweet hampers filled with many different types of retro sweets which went down really well as I managed to find some hard to get hold of ones.

I did a retro one last year with various things from my brothers childhood such as beano top trumps, dandy money box, ghost busters keyring, rubix cube etc.

I have made two dove hampers which consisted of BOGOF items so worked out quite cheap and I ended up having so much I had to give two baskets to each person!

Im doing my brothers and their wives a movie night in hamper with a dvd, bottle of wine (when they are on offer in supermarket) some beer, a tin of chocolates and popcorn :)

love it well exstied :) there is so many nice things you can do with not much money but some people just get stupid and stingy I go all out to make sure people get what they want for christmas. Hampers are so much fun.

We are doing them for OHs family,

We are doing a bedtime one for OHs sister & nephews, new pjs for all three of them, hot chocolate, chocolates, an eyemask (for ohs sister) and a homemade christmas cake.

I think they are a fantastic idea, and a way to get someone what they really want, I love the movie night one

My Grandma and Grandad gave us a food hamper last year and it was amazing :happydance:
