Help with cycle days please?

Last month I was 29 days until I saw any sign of AF. I had spotting (dark brown) for 4 days in total from wed - Sat. Sunday AF came until Friday when I had my last red blood. And for the last 2 days now I have had the dark brown blood again. Can anyone help me work this out? Do I ignore the spotting and only count the AF? And does that then mean last month I went 33 days without AF?

It's now my second month off the pill so I knew it wouldn't be straight forward.

Ps I plan this month to not use any ovulation testing just going to DTD as much as possible with our busy schedules and look out for EWCM

Cycle day 1 is the first day of flow, so the days with spotting are still your previous cycle

I downloaded the fertility Friend apps, helps me keep track of days etc. You can put when you start spotting and it'll work it out for you!

And then the last day of my period is the last day of proper bleeding is that right?
