help with the motivation please

Hiya, ive two young children (2 yrs and 9months) and since being pregnant with my first ive piled on weight,never was overly slim but a nice size 12/14. Im now an 18and just been to get a new contraceptive pill, the dr was so lovely but he said with my bmi so high i need to loose weight or he cant give me any more pills in 3 months time as im right on the edge of not being allowed them 😓 i started slimming world but cant get into it. I also have to loose weight as we want to try for no.3 mixdle of next year (yes we are mad lol) but i dont want to be a fatty this time and have the midwife naggging all of the time. Even with all the reason to do it and stick to it,one thing knocks me back and im eating crap 😓 its like i dont have a switch in my head to stop me!! Im very lonely at the mo and im often alone all day with the kids without talking to other adults until my hubby gets home and this just makes me want to eat. I do alot of walking with the kids and a biig heavy double pushchair up amd down hills so i know ive got the 'exercise' bit ok.
 
Im in the same position. Hate the way i look but lacking the motivation to do anything about it! I have decided to make small changes. Switching to wholegrain rice, pasta and bread ans reducing potatoes. cutting out all alcohol. Maybe a treat if i go out but i wont be buying it in. In regards to exercise if you want to loose weight you have to do something different on op of your daily rituals to get your body to kick start into action. I have just purchased a 10 minute workout dvd. Im hoping that with the workout being only 10 mins (there are 5 you can do in different combinations or alone) I will be more motivated to have a go.
 
Thank you �� luckily I dont drink so calories dont come from there, i just find myself thinking feck it and standing at the fridge eating,then feel bad after. Im a comfort eater and i need lots of comfort right now *sigh.
The walk is a new thing,well ive upped the 10 min walk to a good hour and half walk round the village incorporating the massive hill i avoided before. ive got the reasons there,id love no.3 soon so why they hell am i still eating ��
 
I keep thinking the same. Im only a size 12 but so unfit. My belly hangs over my pants and I have never felt more disgusting. And then i go and munch on chocolate all day :dohh: We are ttc #2 so i also want to be healthy for the pregnancy especially as we were told when ttc ds1 that we would struggle to concieve naturally. But then a part of me think why bother if im going to get pregnant and fat again anyway :shrug:
Then im back to square 1!
 
Id kill to be a size 12 again lol 😓 i have great intentions to start with,had cornflakes this morn but usually by dinner im searching for something bad to eat 😓 cant help myself
 
Just try to make small goals for yourself each day or week or so and find someone who can help you stay accountable. There's a quote that I really like that I think about often to keep me going. "No matter how slow you go, you are are still lapping everyone on the couch." This isn't just a great runners quote, but it's also a great quote to apply to every healthy choice you make on a daily basis. Take your time getting into a new habit of eating healthy and give yourself a break. There will be days where you eat poorly, and there will be days where you binge on an entire box of cookies, but if you just keep making healthy decisions and do what you can and it will pay off eventually. Keep on moving forward and you will reach your goals!
