First off you should do some method of charting. So you'll now how long your cycles are (Cycle day 1 aka CD1 is the first day of your period, and the last day of your cycle is when AF aka period comes).
Women have different approaches, but they all focus on when ovulation happens. There are a lot of methods, tips, and tricks that you can find by reading the threads in this forum.

There are so many things that you learn just by reading the threads and the best place to start is in the TTC (Trying to Conceive) section - then move on to the TWW (Two Week Wait), which happens after Ovulation has occurred.
