Im so confused

I normally have 40 day cycles and around the 21st I start to test with OPK's.

I use the clear blue ones with the smiley faces as I found these have been the best for me as i have never had a postive with the cheapies.

So anyway I normally get 2 days of smiley faces and I usually take a third one to make sure I get a negative.

Anyway I got a negative at 12pm last sunday and for some reason I decided to test again at 6pm and got a positive, I got my positive on monday as well and as normal I checked on Tuesday to make sure I got a negative but NO i got a positive again I ran out of the clear blue ones on the Wednesday after another positive. So I popped out and bought some Tesco ones and they are very very clearly confirming positive OPKs the test line is extremely darker than the control for thursday friday and today.

That is 6 days of positive opks, I took an hpt on the Wednesday just to see if it showed anything and it was negative.

Anyone tell me whats wrong with me and would I have ovulated?

My dh and I every night for this week apart from Thursday and Friday, and throughout this whole month we have every second day!

HELP anyone?!?

I've heard that it can happen that way. My OPK positive was longer this last month than the month before. You ovulate 12-36hrs after your positive. Do you check your cervical mucus? As far as you don't want to do it to much. I know that sounds crazy, but I just watched something by a sperm specialist and he said that every 2-3 days gives the sperm a chance to rebuild. Hope you get your BFP!

Thanks for that, i dont check CM as i find it difficult to get far enough up (sorry if too much IM) plus i find it difficult to determine if its the right consistency at time of ovulation.

Thanks for that we hope we will get BFP but feeling doubtful.

my LH surge is uber short . . .so I'm not sure sorry (didn't wanna rnr) so I guess I have the opposite problem to you, I worry I won't ovulate because my surge is so short! lol

however I would BD over the positive days . . . maybe a couple of days after, have a day off, BD one more time just for good measure and leave it for a while ( you have ALOT of BDing to do by the sounds of it . . . )

I've had a month like that, where they kept turning positive for at least five days. (Then I ran out!) The way I can tell when I O'd is by temping. Do you temp?

I heard that too but I asked my doctor & she said no, the sperm would be fine... I wonder now.

Not regularly cos I keep sleeping in for work and forget lol x
