I'm not a massive fan of quirky spellings as I think it just makes life frustrating for everyone later on as all birthday cards/invites/Christmas cards etc will be spelled wrong. A friend of mine had a boy about 6 months ago and named him Fynnley. Straightaway she started getting messages on Facebook congratulating her on the birth of Finley!
