Hi there

There is so much info on the internet about herbal teas - can someone tell me what is safe to drink in the first trimester? Ive heard Roobis is fine but i want to be sure before i start drinking it.

Thanks

Hi I have been drinking fruit tea and lemon and ginger tea they are caffein free I think the main one to totally avoid is red raspberry tea but any other fruit tea making sure it doesn't contain any other herbs and chamomile tea is good but only a couple a day it helps with nausea, headaches, anxiety and helps you to relax and sleep better.

I am an insane tea person and I don't avoid any herbal teas at all (except obviously raspberry leaf tea!) I do like rooibos and lemongrass tea, and I drink a mug of weak green tea in the mornings. MMMMMM

Hi there I just came across a website that may be of interest I got some samples and it's lovely

https://www.mamatea.com it's tea made specially for pregnant women, new mums and breast feeding mums

I have drank herbal teas off and on (when it looks good) this whole time. I have come accross so.e that say do not drink when pregnant. So I read labels, and if there is no such warning, I'm all over it :)

I came across this which might help you:
