Hi Everyone! :hi:

I'm not sure what the requirements are to post in here, so feel free to tell me to hit the road if I don't belong. I'm just finding that I don't seem to have a place here on BnB because I'm not technically WTT, but I'm having difficulty TTC too.

Here's my story....the abbreviated version:
  • Hubby and I were married two years ago and decided to start TTC June 2008. We got pregnant right away, but that ended in a miscarriage in August at about 7 weeks (on our first wedding anniversary of all days!).
  • We took a break to get ourselves back on track and then started TTC again in October.
  • We got pregnant first month of trying, but unfortunately, that too, ended in a miscarriage at 17 weeks in February of this year.
  • We've been TTC since then, but haven't been successful as of yet.

My family doctor has just recently made a referral for me to see a OB/GYN for some testing, as both my family doctor and my naturopath think I have low progesterone and that's why I'm having difficulty sustaining a pregnancy....or getting pregnant at all this time.

So, all in all, we've now been trying for 13 months and have two miscarriages and no baby to show for it. I know it will happen for us, but I'm just not sure when. The current regimen I'm on requires that I not get pregnant this month, so we're taking a one month break.

I guess I'm just looking for a place where I'm surrounded by people who don't take things for granted and understand my frustration and desperation at times.

Thanks, girls! :)

I definitely think that this is a good place to be!

:hugs2:

Thanks! It's just so frustrating hanging out on the TTC board with people who have only been trying for a month or two and then magically get their BFP. Thanks for the welcome!

So sorry for your loss. I understand how it must be hard for you to go to the TTC section. I have been TTC for 3 years and I just can't stand it when i hear about people complaining after a month or two.

Best of Luck! I hope your stay here is a short one.
:hugs:

i am more mid ttc and do spend a lot of time on the ttc boards, mainly cause I am nosey, but the amount who swing and then out a month later does become frustrating. I like it on here though as am learning a lot more about what will lie ahead for me and to know what questions to ask as I go along

xxxx :hugs:

:hugs:I totally understand what your going through!! I have had 3 m/c's, and my gyno told me that when i do get pregnant again to start taking these progesterone pills for the entire 1st tri..But i'm like, is there anything i can take now?? So who knows!! Well like i say to myself...at least we know we can get pregnant! Cause that would be a different story in my books! Keep your chin up hun, the time will come for you!!!! FX for next month for you!!

Oh i was going to ask you, are you temping or charting or anything like that??

And i'm really sorry to hear about your 2 m/c's and to happen on your first anniversary...I'm sorry hun!!!

Thanks for the welcome! I appreciate knowing that I have some people to talk to who are having the same feelings as me.

want2bamom -> I am temping and charting. I'm ovulating (which they didn't think I was a few months ago), but I'm spotting for at least a week before my period starts. This is what started them (and me) thinking that I had a progesterone problem. They also think that it could be what caused my miscarriages, but we can't know that for sure.
