Hi,

I'm new to the forum, I'm currently 24w+1 pregnant with my second baby (I have a daughter thats almost 5) I feel like its my first all over again due to the gap! :flower:

Welcome!
This is my second too, and my son has just turned 5.
Im finding it much harder this time, how about you?! X

Oh I'm glad you've said that as I'm the same!!! I'm really struggling, I'm so tired all the time, and I ache so much already, I dread doing the school runs lol. don't know how I'm going to cope when further along! How many weeks are you? x

Oops just noticed your ticker! Your just over a week ahead of me. My daughter turns 5 in a few weeks so we've practically got the same age gap too! Is your son excited? x

Im 25+4. :)
Im constantly knackered, if im not working between school runs then im asleep!! Lol. Im also sure I have the start of SPD so im struggling just moving about tbh! I LOVED being pregnant last time but not being able to move properly already is making this drag. Im happy for baby to come anytime after september 1st!! (Im due October 2nd) my son was 4weeks early.
Roll on maternity leave!! I have about 7weeks left x

He is actually! I thought he was going to disown me ;) he has always hated children younger than him but he is super excited even tho he has made me promise a few times in the last few years that 'we would never have a baby in our house' lol bless him x

Hello and welcome :) I too am expecting my second although my age gap is a little bit bigger (8years) lol x

Oh I hope maternity leave hurries up for you, my friend suffered with SPD and it looks so painful, hoping I don't develop that.. Mines just an achey back and legs permanently! I will probs go overdue as I did with my daughter lol.

Awh thats fab that his so excited now :) Do you know what your having? My daughter said she only wants a sister and not a brother so I didn't take her to my private gender scan incase she had a tantrum if they said boy but its a girl, she screamed with delight when we told her lol. x

Hi, I'm expecting my second too, my DD was 5 in May.

I'm finding it harder this time around as any time away from work i have is spent entertaining/cooking for my DD so i have less rest and of course i'm 5 years older now :(

I'm looking forward to my maternity leave starting, but that's not until September!

:hi: hi I am having #2 also but mine are much closer in age gap I will have 2 under 2

16 weeks until Mat leave I cannot wait :happydance:

I am 24+2 now and my youngest will be 6 in a month. He is over the moon that he is getting 2 brothers. My soon to be 8 year old daughter was not thrilled, until she realized that means she doesn't have to share her room in the future. She is still leery of having 2 more brothers though. Her and my son are in their fighting stage. a year ago they played well and held hands and got along great, now it's mostly breaking up arguments. I can't wait to meet my two little blessings!

I'm also pregnant with #2, closer age gap though. My first will be a yr and 8mo. A little nervous about having 2 under two, but we wanted two close in age so hope we can handle it! I'm also finding this pregnancy more difficult.. Had a lot of ms and fatigue, VERY emotional and the aches and pains are coming on a lot sooner. I Just had a check-up yesterday actually and asked my dr about this and he said that you do actually start producing the hormone "relaxin" earlier in subsequent pregnancies which can cause the pain the the pelvic joints.
