High blood pressure but no protein in urine

My booking bp was realy low as it always is
I have had low bp for years. All the way through the pregnancy it's been low
now in the last 3 weeks it's been mildly high to high!
It's not consistently high. My urine has no protein so they don't think it's preenclampsia but I have had a headache and hungover feeling for 3 weeks

Has anyone else had this?
I was in the hospital last night and it was high so
they sent someone to
my house today and they are coming back tomorrow

I had this with my last pregnancy but had protein in urine as well headaches dizziness etc had to have my bp monitored every day but these things just happen... Just make sure they keep monitoring you and let them know if any symptoms change or get worse xx

Yeah I did. It was gestational hypertension. It was finally diagnosed after weeks and weeks of tests and no pre eclampsia was present. I was booked in for an induction (which was yesterday actually) and my waters broke the week before. My baby boy is here now and all is well and my BP has returned to normal.

They will probably want to monitor you for a while before they look at induction. But it can be dangerous, mine at my highest was bottom figure of 98.

THis happened to me with my first pregnancy....gestational hypertension that never turned into anything else. THis time around my bp spiked suddenly last week about 50 points and scared all of the doctors. Lots of testing and labeled gestational hypertension again but also discovered that I have abnormal thyroid labs. Doc things my bp might be attributed to that and tomorrow I go see a specialist about my thyroid. But everytime my bp spikes I get bad headaches and just feel miserable.

hope yr taking it easy hun, i had that to begin with my first and then i got the protein in my urine happened earlier in pregnancy for me first time round but thats just horses for courses i had the other symptoms for about 2 weeks b4 the protein showed and at 30 weeks till birth i was hospitalized, fingers crossed a bit of bed rest will take you back to normal, keep up the fluids as they are often the cause of headaches xx

Hi, I''ve got High blood pressure, Protein and swelling to my hands, face and feet

I had my 38 week appointment last week were i saw yet again another midwife to be told two of the above so i was sent to hospital to do further checks/monitoring. After being there 4 hours and only having my baby's heart beat and my blood pressure checked i was sent home (i didn't even see a doctor has he was busy). I'm worried so i've managed to get in to see my normal midwife today.

Fingers crossed everything is ok......I'm just so annoyed that no follow up was done! Sounds like you have caring midwife's Crazyguider...Hope everything is ok for you too

glad im not alone, my mw has not seemed that worried so Im glad they are looking more into it as I feel a bit rough. The MW is coming back tomorrow for mor readings

Hope your taking it easy - as with above if you feel worse make sure you can get checked out again
