High platelets

Just got my blood results bk, and i dont have OC which is a relief altho i wouldn't of minded being induced at 37 weeks! But my iron levels were low which i can take iron sups for that, the main concern was the high platelets. I have to go bk nxt week for another blood test and then if there higher i will need to go see a Dr at an antenatal clinic. if there the same or lower i dont need to worry.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this, and what does it mean/lead to, is it serious? MW wasnt that helpful!

When i was having Elissa my platelet levels were very low infact they were that low that i nearly bled to death through the labour/birth. If they are high they will probably give you tablets to thin your blood out but i'm not 100% sure about that.
