Hiya im new in here. Not new to BNB lol am a total addict

So we went on holiday to aruba a couple of weeks ago and Mr hearts got down on one knee and asked me to marry him so happy

We are currently ntnp/ttc so we have agreed we would both like to wait for the arrival of a bubba before getting married but i have just been having a look on the internet at wedding venues and HELP!!! lol. i have no idea where to start!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!

We want a small ceremony in the day - literally immendiate family and very close friends then on the evening a BIG party with the whole family and all our friends with a buffet. We dont want a sit down meal.....does this kind of wedding exsist. All the ones i have looked at have said ceremony followed by meal then party at night time.........

Hi hun firstly congrats on your engagement thats wonderful news. For our wedding we have just 5 months to plan it all so we can't afford a sit down meal. We are getting married as late in the day as possible (around 2pm) and then having an evening reception which will start at 7pm which will include a buffet.

If you ask the venues you have in mind I'm sure they will cater to your needs. x

I think we may have to do 2 seperate venues but i think we need to ring around and ask whats on offer. We are thinking it will be a couple of years away yet but i want to get some sort of idea what we want and prices etc.

huge congratulations on your engagment yep i would ring round different venues, and go and have a look at them to help with prices and quotes.
might be worth going to some wedding fayre's in your area to see what sort of prices and what's on offer

We are lucky that we aren't paying for the venue because my OH's family own it and we are getting caterers in to do the food, we are having two buffets the one in the morning will be a special one with pate' and salmon and the night buffet will be standard finger food and hotpot

Hope you find the venue you are looking for
