Hole in episiotomy???

So it's only been 6 days since birth but I decided it was the perfect time to check out my stitches...it wasn't!!! There seems to be a hole right at the end of where my stitches are (more towards my bum cheek than the the other end), it's clean and there doesn't appear to be any kind of infection but is having a hole normal??? I've read some sites that say not and should get it looked at and some that say yes and apparently it'll heal 'from the inside out'
I burst into tears when I saw it and OH has said he'll take a look if I want but it'd made me real paranoid and I couldn't think of anything worse!!!!

Anyone have any experience of this?? Should I be concerned?? Xx

don't have any experience but just to say if you're worried get hv or dr to look at it.
hope it's ok.

get your midwife to check them on her next visit. she's the best person to advise you
