holiday park recommendations please

we have been looking around for a caravan park we can hire an 8 berth static caravan on for the end of august. We are looking at the somerset,devon,cornwall areas.

Dont really want to go with the pontins/haven places,would rather have smaller camp, not too far from the beach and with at lease a play area or pool,not bothered about loads of bars etc as we dont drink but maybe somewhere that runs kids activities in the evening for a while.

If you have any parks you have used down this way that you could recomend that would be great!!
