Phoebe was due 5 January so I was term all over Christmas and I wasn't made aware that I should be concerned about cover during the holidays. In fact one of my community midwives was on call over Xmas and said it would be nice if I had her then! Our biggest worry was the weather as we'd had early snow that year (well I wasn't particularly worried but everyone else was!)

It's been ages but im baccckkk Hoping for a second HB Im almost 28 weeks...better start getting my HB materials purchased soon! This will be the last birth for me as DH is getting sterilized in about a month. Im actually really excited to move to a different stage of life, but also looking forward to another HB. Loved my last one.

Hi everyone. I'm popping in here cautiously, as it's still early days, but I've wanted a homebirth for my second child for about 3 years now so i thought I'd show my face good luck to everyone!

Hi ladies - I was a home birth hopeful with baby number 4, but he was overdue 14 days and I ended up getting induced. Wished ever since that I had stuck to my guns, and said no to induction but hey ho! that's life.

Anyway, just found out baby number 5 is expected next year and want to home birth more than ever.
Not sure how my mw will react, as this is baby 5 and I am going to be 40 soon and my last baby ended up forceps delivery ( am sure because I was induced amongst other things) .

There is a closed group too so anything put in there is 100% private from public ;-)

Lol you won't get it wrong! You have to wait for admin to accept your request to join in the private one and it will say closed group at the top of page. X

As said above, the page is just a "like", so unless you post on there, it's just like liking any other fb page. And, as the group is closed, people can see the member list and the group is searchable, but no one can see any posts in it at all unless they're in it themselves. Many women in there aren't pregnant yet or are just there for support anyway.

Lol that's what I am worried about - I am always being informed that so-and-so 'likes ' Dairlylea or Drayton Manor or __________ (enter whatever) lol

Well Done it now, hope it doesn't show up on feeds as Donna has joined group or Donna likes group - not ready to tell ppl yet and especially not ready to tell facebook

It defo shouldn't show in others feeds for the closed group. Don't know about the open one. X
