Homelet Credit Checks

Does anybody have any experience of this company, when it comes to a letting agency?

Ie, poor credit but everything being fine anyway?!

are they the ones that provide insurance for people who are renting a property? if yes then we used them when we rented our first house and had no problems at all. I had good credit and my DH was poor (not his fault, his mum had maxed out his credit card without him knowing and not been paying it).

My OH and I used homelet last september and we didn't get the property we wanted on our own income (I'd just lost my job and was relying on student finance and OH was earning £12,000 a year ish) but we were able to pay £50 to add a guarantor and then it went through fine.

I have terrible credit and me and OH got through the homelet checks fine

I think they just check your income level against the rent rather than actually checking your credit iykwim?

I seriously wouldnt worry about it you'll be fine
