Hi all. So I decided to make some puree for my 5 month old to see if she would eat. She isn't interested yet so I want to freeze for a couple of weeks and try again. I made the puree from sweet potato and added formula milk to it. It's currently frozen. I know you can't freeze formula normally but I did some research and found that it's ok to freeze puree made with formula. The problem I have is that the formula I used will expire on April 3rd. I don't know if that means that I have to throw away the puree or if it's fine if frozen. I can't find any information on that so I thought I would post on here and see if anyone knows.

I didn't use formula but I would assume if it's frozen before the exp date than it would be good still

So I answered the question and I will share in case anyone else is wondering. According to Enfamil's website "freezing will not extend the expiration date of the formula". So they means my purees will be thrown away. Good thing I only made one potato :)
