So, Im wondering how everyone's baby's fathers are holding up so far?
How did you think they would act vs how they are actually reacting to the thought of becoming a father? (Or, if its the 2nd/3rd/etc time...how are they feeling?)
So I personally thought my husband would be super stressed out and nervous. I was even thinking that he was going to resent me for getting pregnant/keeping the baby. We were ntnp before, but he had stated many times that he didn't think he wanted any children for at least another 2 years or so. BUT! MY husband is doing so well and he is so excited! He is being so good to me and supportive and sweet. I really feel lucky to have such a caring, sweet guy. I grew up without a father, so I never expected a man to actually WANT a baby and be willing to sacrifice anything for his wife/children. My husband went and sold his beloved truck, and is buying me an SUV this weekend so that I'll be safer on the road. (I currently have a small car) He is working so hard/extra hours because he says he wants us to have the best of everything. I dont even have to work. It's so crazy to me! I love it, I feel so spoiled. I almost feel guilty. I dont want him to have to carry all the weight of the financial part of this on his own. But he says he wants that. I dont want him to stress out too much. I want to try to be the best wife/mother and do whatever I can to make him happy. I feel so blessed that he is doing so much for me.
