Hi ladies,
I'm a bit  as I've had four chemical miscarriages and never got past five weeks before.
I think I'm five weeks PG today but might be just under.

My query is whether my lines should be darker by now if this pregnancy is healthy?
I haven't dared test since last weekend when I found out, so I can't check progression.

This is a Clearblue, non-digi (obvs!) and I've not used these much before.

Might this one be sticking or should the horizontal line be darker by now if so? When do test lines usually become as dark as control lines? Actually in the pic the test line looks darker than in RL - it's actually lighter when I'm looking at it I think.

I have a blood test booked for Thursday with my dr but any advice in the meantime to help me prepare potentially for the worst would be welcome.

Thank you! Good luck to everyone!

In my experience the test line never gets as dark as the control line. It just gets a bit more darker every 24 hours

I think it's hard to say exactly how dark a line on one type of test should be on any given day, due to different urine concentrations, different hcg levels, different amounts of dye, etc. In general I saw a darkening over time of my tests but day to day they could be a bit different if my urine was more diluted, etc. I also dipped 2 FRERs in the same urine pot and had noticeably different line strengths.

What did your original BFP look like and was that also on a clearblue? I hope all goes well for you and congrats xxxxx :happydance:

These were last weekend's tests - Friday, Saturday, Monday. I haven't used CB before. I know I should use FRER again for a progression check but I'm just too terrified; would feel like jinxing myself. All my losses have made a fruitloop of me tbh. Thanks ladies!

I think u would get a good line on frer now

I have no experience of blue dye tests, but looks pretty good to me.

It's really hard to compare them to mine as everyone's different-different cycle length, some people hcg rises faster/slower than others etc so don't feel discouraged and worried.

Try not to worry :flower:
