Just wondering how your LOs movements in your tummy changed before labor...did they go crazy and squirm for a few days...or did they go way still? Asking because my LO has been moving around alot more today...I thought they were supposed to have less room and move less but she has not stopped it seems....and I have been to the potty constantly..its like constant having to pee feeling and when I go during the day only a little comes out each time..I spend about 15 mins in and our of the bathroom on one bladder full coz the way she is down is pressing it and it all cant come out at once it seems..

as of my 36 week appt Tues I was
-2 station
2 cm dilated
70% effaced..

Im due Oct 24th but Dr says that my numbers were ahead of 36 weeks AND this being my first so he doesnt think I'll make it past first weeks in Oct...dont want to get too excited but cant help but think that maybe her wiggling so much is her settling down and trying to get comfy and maybe working on her grand entrance?

I remember Amelie was reallllly active for maybe 2-3 days about 4 days before labour :)

Why does your doctor think you'll go early since it's your first? Most first-timers go over a week or two. Not trying to get you down! I'm at 39 weeks, and pretty anxious to have my baby here too :) But I always figure it's easier to expect to go to 42 weeks and be surprised if he comes early.. rather than expecting to go 2 weeks early and then have 4 more weeks to go!

he said because I was already so dilated and effaced and her station was so ahead of what most first timers would be I guess

So im 39 weeks + 1 day, and my baby has also been moving a lot more then she normally does.
I was also wondering if this could be a sign of labour.
My doctor or midwife has not checked for any dilation or effacement or anything like that. Don't know why though.

It's because we're in the UK, they dont do it here., no internals unless needed! Which massively sucks - I hate not knowing if ive started to dialate or not!

My LO has been moving around like crazy too - one minute she is on the left side of my bump, then she is on the right! Hoping its a good sign - I've been getting loads of BHs :)

Alfie was sooooo active right up until he popped out. When i was contracting he was still kicking away.

<3

My little one's movements didn't change at all. To be honest, I thought she would never arrive! Finally, six hours before I was due to be induced, I started feeling some little pains, but the movements never changed at all!

No change that I can recall in her movements. She carried on moving during labour....even during contractions which was kinda painful.
