How do you dress for a night out?

As in to pubs/clubs/bars (if you go to them)... I was looking through old pictures of when I first started having nights out in the pre-baby days and it was always mini-dress, bare legs and very high heels which is funny because I never dress like that now (and it's only a few years later), I always just wear jeans, a 'dressy' top and low heels when going to pubs and clubs. I'd just feel silly and self-conscious going out how I used to. Is this a mum thing? How do you all dress for nights out? xx

I still wear dresses, not right up my arse mind you (haven't since I was 17!). They are either short or they are long but revealing.

I still wear very high heels, I always have done, even for work.

I dress the same way I always did tbh. I have never worn clothes that leave nothing to the imagination but I'll wear short dresses, high heels etc.

If I go to a nightclub which is maybe once a year if that I'd wear a dress and shoe boots, or shorts and a cool top and maybe a kimono and heeled ankle boots... I dunno, like grungy dressy if that makes sense?! And hair bigger than normal, makeup more dramatic etc. Though last time it was fancy dress so I wore a little glittery black dress and a cape, cos it was a superhero theme! I went through a stage after having LO when I thought I should dress like a proper mum and not wear what I liked, but I gave up on that after about 8 months. I'm only 22 and if I want to wear something ridiculous then I will, and I'll enjoy it!

I used to wear jeans am a top but since my belly has taken over I've found dresses the best way to cover it!! So ill wear a nice dress (just above the knee normally) and they're usually showing off my boobs!! But I never ever go bare legged, I think that's due to my size (I'm a 22) so I wear leggings or tights. I haven't been out in months though.

I still like to wear dresses and my high heels if I'm going to a club, but I'm a bit more conservative now just due to self consciousness! I still just wear jeans/leggins and a nice top to go to the pub. I tend to stick to skater dresses as they skim over the last bit of my mum tum I haven't quite got rid of yet!

I still wear short dresses and heels on the odd occasion I go out to clubs. If I'm going to the pub I'll wear jeans and a nice top or a dress and boots though

I dunno I don't really ever go to 'dressy' nightclubs I am usually at hip hop gigs or slightly grotty rave type places so I usually wear dr martens, some type of leggings and a camisole or something, or maybe an oversized t-shirt and short shorts or a mini skirt. Everytime I go out at the moment I seem to wear a black camisole, black american apparel shiny leggings and dr martens. I'm so boring!

And there is no reason to dress differently just because youre a mum! In the summer I happily went out in tiny little dresses and crop tops - I don't think anyone was silly enough to think any less of me because I'm a mother!

I was thinking about this other night actually I used to wear the shortest dresses possible and high heels.. * augh* i cringe at the thought now i wear skinny jeans or leggings and a nice top and i always have my hair and make up done that's just who i am daily

I'd still like to wear short dresses and high heels when I go out, I just wish I fit in my old clothes to be honest! I usually wear a skirt or hot pants now and some high heels and a nice top, the problem is, all my old dresses are quite tight fitting, which is the last thing I need with my tummy!

Short dress and heels I don't really go out anymore though, I have turned into an old fart, I went out for a friends 30th a few months ago(march/april ish?). I was just peed off that 2 drinks cost me 11 quid !!

Don't really go clubbing anymore. I don't think I have been since my daughter was 9 months for a friends birthday and she is 4 in 2 months time.

If i'm going to the pub then it is just jeans, du barry boots, top and blazer usually. I wear a dress and heels if I go to a bar for drinks.

Way I always have really? Never really changed the way I look or "dresed" down because i've still worked and looking professional is key for us so dressing up is still natural to me I suppose and something I have to find time for.
