Ive never had any luck atkeeping a blanket over Barry while hes sleeping, the moment it touches him he'll wake up or he'll kick it off in his sleep, he rolls around a lot in his sleep (even sits up and lies back down while asleep)

ive tried tucking it in and all sorts to no luck, do they grow out of this?!

Im worried because its getting colder now but yesterday it was warm, so i dressed him in his normal pjs, then suddenyl at about 1am it got very very cold so i went in and put a blanket over him que him wake up and 30 minutes to get him back down by which point i dressed him in warmer clothes.

tips on how to get and keep a blanket over him?

No ideas because I have the same problem exactly so will be watching with interest!

Ozzie now insists on having his blanket on him when I put him to bed and it's still over him in the morning. I actually think he's developed a bit of OCD about it

Molly has never kept her blanket on, I've just always made sure she wears appropriate pjs and vest and her room is warm. No answer I'm afraid, sorry.

weve just bough this for lo

We just go in frequently and check on them. I did use to put an extra blanket over their feet, but that doesn't always work either. I put socks on them now though?

Carter is still in a sleeping bag. The tog is really low and we need some new ones, they are just hard to find here over 9mo. So for right now he has the sleeping bag and we still put a blanket over him, although it never stays. We just make sure to dress him with the thought that the blanket won't stay on.

now that looks pretty cool for when he moves to a big boy bed so its something i might keep in mind, my only though though is when potty training i dont think he'll be able to get in and out of that quickly enough.

I just bought our son a 12-18 month sleep sack and its great with lots of room to grow. He can move all he wants, crawl and stand but wont get cold at least.

Its a bamboo bag by Perlim PinPin, I like the material it seems quite breathable - they also had some with sleeves.

Target online sells a big kid halo sleep sack that comes in 2-3t and 4-5t. Right now I need to buy some of those. Megan is in the smaller size early walker halo sleep sack right now and it's time to move on to a bigger size.

we had the same trouble with Tobes, however now he is in a toddler bed, he has a proper single duvet and so far (two nights) he has kept it on him!!!

DD can't stand her feet being covered which is the cause of our trouble with blankets, she asks for her blanket when she's going to sleep but panics if it goes over her feet. I've just bought her some snuggly fleece sleepsuits so she's tucked up in 1 of those now and I'll still use her blanket but am not so concerned if she kicks it off.

Indie never keeps the blanket on, i am buying her big fleecy pj's for the winter, hopefully itll help x

Emma is the same, she has never been able to keep a blanket on. I have always put her in a sleeping bag. I'm hoping she gets less wriggly when she gets older because they are bloody expensive!!

i put H in a sleep bag but it is becoming very small. when it does i will just crank the heating up and put on vest, pjs socks and maybe jumper in v cold weather.

William would wake getting tangled in blankets or sheet, swapped to a duvet at 17 months and he's fine with that! More wriggle space maybe?!

My monkey has a snotty nose from kicking her blanket off at night, plus we have only just stopped co-sleeping...well I thought it was too cold last night so we cuddled in bed last night..

Once we get a sleep bag there will be no excuse for bed cuddles :dohh:

My LO never keeps her cover on, i just make sure she has long sleeved pj's on, and put a vest underneath and make sure her room is warm x

we havent ever used sleeping bags with him, we havet he "sleepers" i dont really know what they are called they have the feet on them, all in one pjs that zip up, we just bought 3 of those nice thick and warm, like i said though the weather chancges so quickly, it was really hot put him in lighter ojs and then it got freezing suddenly.
