How do you take formula when out and about?

Can anyone recommend any Tupperware to transport formula when out and about? I have some perfectly sized little tubs that keep spilling open in my bag which is very annoying!!

I take it you mean powder for formula, rather than somewhere to store the carton stuff?

I have a TT powder holder, which you measure it out into before you go out and then just pour into the bottle with hot water when you need it.

Hope that helps x

We bought little tubs from Mothercare, with yellow lids. They fit up to 4oz of powder inside.

They have more here: https://www.mothercare.com/gp/node/n/75699031/278-3095884-6218530?ie=UTF8&compareListASINs=&mcb=core

When you're onto bigger feeds, Tommee Tippee do some pink tubs, but they're marketed as food storage, not formula storage.

I've never had any of them spill open on me, but then I do store them stacked up in my changing bag  We can't use the normal storage pots with multiple compartments, because they're quite wide, and our feeding pouch in our changing bag is quite slim; once you have the thermos in it, it only leaves space for another thermos, so the pots we have are the most useful for us

If you go to any Boots, Tesco etc you can buy little tubs with 3 compartments for the formula powder. You can put up to 9 scoops in each, and the lid twists round to dispense them one at a time. They only cost a few pounds.

^^WSS!^^ I got mine from Home Bargains, not sure if you have one near you? I only paid 89p for it and it's fab!

I was just going to say, i wouldnt bother with an avent/tt one. I bought the avent one and have never had any problems with it but i cost me a fiver and ive seen exactly the same in tesco for £1.99

I have one of those with the 3 different compartments for up to four scoops in each. I live in the US but got mine at Walmart which would be the same as ASDA in the UK.

I also use TT ones never had problems with them.

This is what I use. Comes in a pack of 4 and I wouldnt be without them

I used to measure out scoops of formula into containers and it always ended up a big mess, until DH came to visit and very wisely asked me why I didn't just stick the entire (small) tin in the diaper bag and save myself the trouble? lol So now I just have a small tin of formula powder that's always in the diaper bag, and it's much easier. :dohh: I don't know if they sell the little tins in the UK though?

I use these and carry them inside the bottle which is what they are designed for. I find they are only big enough for a maximum 6oz feed though.

I use the tommee tippee powder holder things,

At the minute I'm using breast milk storage pots for the formula!

Only because that was the only thing I had handy when I needed to take some formula out and I've just carried on using them :)
