How far in advanced to........

Send party invites. My LO is going to be 1 in August and we are having a massive party at home and I am wondering how far in advance to send the invites out. TIA x

I would probably give it bout 6 weeks prior to the event, my LO is born in June and i done the event at the end of April to give people plenty of notice as i know that most people go away in the summer

obviously all your family will know anyway

when the kids get invites from friends at school or nursery its normally 2 weeks

We sent the invites for our LO's christening at the end of April, Christenins is June 24th.. And some people still didn't RSVP in time! x

I would say maybe 6 weeks with the time of year. Lots of people will be going on holiday/days out/weekends away planned. Any other time of the year and I would say around a month in advance.

Id say 3 weeks for friends as you dont want it too ling so they.forget or too short hat they cant make it.
