How long are bottles sterile for after being sterilised?

I like to have bottles empty for emergencies and when I take LO out unexpectedly for the ready made cartons.

Does anyone know how many days they are ok for once they have been sterilised and sealed with the lid?

I assume they're sterile as long as they're sealed. I will sterilise all of my bottles, and I may only use them 3 or 4 days later, because I put about 5 bottles in the changing bag, and if she doesn't use them, they stay in the bag until they are used. The bottles in my changing bag may also have boiled water in them, but if they do, I make sure they're used within 48 hours of having been boiled. My LO has never had a bad reaction from it.
