How long did you wait for your first appointment?

I’m going crazy here! I am super irregular, so my period tells me nothing. But I’m fairly certain I’m already 8-10 weeks along.
It’s been insane finding an OB, and after 30 minutes on the phone trying to get an appointment I finally have one for the 3rd of September!
They were not concerned at all about me waiting that long, and for a bit we were thinking I couldn’t get in until the end of September!
I’m going crazy over here, have considering having a private ultrasound done, but I’m trying to just stay calm and wait. I keep trying to tell myself I can make it another couple weeks. Lol
How long did everyone have to wait to see their little nuggets??

My OB won't see me until 10 weeks. I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow. I asked for an early ultrasound, which is scheduled for 8/27.

I won't see the midwife until 8 weeks, then have to wait until 12 weeks for first scan. X

If you're a typical patient, you get your 1st appointment at 8wks. A scan possibly after.

I've had a loss so I get seen as soon as I get a BFP. Dd2 was 4wks, this baby was 6wks.

11-12 weeks is usually the 1st dating Ultrasound unless your considered high risk or working with a fertility specialist.

Your OB appointment is usually scheduled for 10 weeks but obviously if you didn't find out until a little later in to the pregnancy then those timelines will be pushed forward due to scheduling issues.

First midwife appointment called the booking in appointment was at 8 and half weeks but no scan.

First scan the dating scan is done at 12 to 14 weeks that's when u get ure official due date.

They dont do early scans (b4 12 weeks) here in the uk unless u are bleeding etc.

I booked to early privet reassurance scans at 7+3 and 9+2 because I've had 3 Misscariges in the past.

Not sure how it works in other countries. They dont like doing scans here b4 6 weeks because u cant see a HB b4 that point.

I won't get a Midewife appointment until between 10-12 weeks. But no ultrasound until 20 weeks. ‍

my first appointment just to go through paperwork etc was at eight weeks and the first scan was at twelve weeks.

We have a different system in Australia. I saw my normal doctor as soon as I got the test and have continued to have appointments whenever I want. She does "shared maternity care" so I can see her as often as possible and only go to the hospital much later on (after 20 weeks).

I had my first (free) scan at 6 days because of a previous miscarriage. I paid for another scan at 8 weeks. I have a quick scan at 10 weeks (for the NIPS blood test) and then the full first trimester ultrasound at 12 weeks 4 days.

I think I’m just freaking out with the wait because it’s my first and because I have no idea how far along I am. Stupid irregular cycles

I still don't have my first midwife booking in appointment but I'm assuming that will be fairly soon. First scan isn't until 30th September at around 12 weeks although we paid for a private scan which we had Saturday at 7w 1d.
I would go private, you can't put a price on reassurance

Found out I was pregnant around 5 weeks... Saw my ob at 6 for my first scan and then again at 7 due to bleeding then at 9 weeks... Now I will be going in every 4 weeks wich is the normal till 3rd trimester.
