How long does Gerber baby food last?

I'm working with the little plastic containers of veggies and fruits. Do they last forever when open like bottles of apple juice, or a few days like leftovers?

I think it says on the outside cardboard part that holds the plastic containers together to discard within 2-3 days after opening.

Yea 2-3 days, I thought apple juice was only good for 7 days after opened?
