how long until milk dries up?

I had my baby 9 days ago and my bbs are big and heavy but thankfully aren't leaking. Is this because my milk isn't in yet or because I am not using it? How long before it dries up? Sorry, probably silly questions but I have done no research on this because wasn't planning on using formula. xxx

Lana is 22 days and mine are still leaking but not full or sore now just soft and leaky

We tried BF when Joe was born but he wouldn't latch so we FF instead. I don't think I had much milk to start with anyway as I leaked for about 10 days I think, had 2 days of them being really heavy and sore and then they went back to normal.

I breastfed solely for the first week with Anna - she lost 13 oz - so went to mix of breast and bottle. Now she is 20days and she is pretty much on bottle only.

I have never leaked pre/post birth, boobs didnt grow either, and all is back to norm now. I dont think there was much there to begin with and thats why she lost so much weight. I was advised to go onto bottle by my midwife.
