How many hours can I wait to take a HPT?

I don't want to wait in the morning to take a hpt. My husband is out of town and he is coming home tonight and I want the accurate results before he gets home. I haven't peed for 2 hours and 10 minutes. How many hours can I hold my pee without drinking alot of fluid and get a close accurate result (like the one when you first wake up)-------> I am Hoping For A !!! Please wish me alot of baby dust!!

Yup the longer the better, but I did do mine at 9dpo after about 2 hours
