AND how is your LO, do they show any "side effects" of you having caffeine while pregnant?
Just wondering cause I feel guilty have been drinking coca cola, but only just started like the end of my second tri beginning of third tri  Only about 1 can a day sometimes I don't drink any a day

God, I was addicted to Fanta, lol. Caffeine is fine in second and third trimester and in moderation :)

I did and she is fine. In fact, she's pretty damn smart, sweet, and happy. You can drink one cup of coffee a day I think while you're pregnant. Soda has significantly less caffeine than a coffee.

I don't think one a day will hurt you or the baby. If you're worried, ask your doctor/midwife.

I stop drinking it but at around 28 weeks all i wanted was cherry coke so i started having a bottle here and there theres a recomended limit 200mg a day (could be wrong) and im sure 1 can wont reach that

Oh and no side effects in my lb

You can safely have anything between 4-7 cans of cola a day while pregnant (even in the first trimester) xx

I drank a 500ml bottle of Coke almost every day from second tri onwards. I couldn't get through work without it! I switched to decaff coffee though to try and make up for it.

I drank caffeine within the limits... at least 2 cans of coke a day  I'm not sure what side affects there would be? Thomas is fine, born with an extra thumb but I don't think caffeine does that

I can't remember what is was now but I remember the limit was something equivalent to one cup of coffee or 3 cups of tea, or 5 cans of coke or 8 bars of chocolate. I don't think those are the exact figures but I just remember it being quite a bit. I had a sweet tooth and ate chocolate several days a week, I also really craved coca cola towards the end so had a glass a few times but no more than one a day.

I think I drank 1 soda a day (sometimes a real full sugar one, sometimes a diet one). No ill effects. I say enjoy (since you're drinking 0-1 sodas a day!) You'll be a good mommy since you're worried about things already :hugs:

At one point all I could keep down was sugary food, so I didn't care what it was as long as I didn't throw it back up again! I had cans of pop all the way through. Tried to balance it out by drinking more water though. The sugar bothered me more than the caffeine!

Had caffeine like 2-3 bottles a day of dr pepper for the first 6 weeks of my first pregnancy (I DIDNT NO I WAS PREGNANT.. before anyone starts judging) and he turned out just fine x

No one has judged anyone. Was that really needed?

As soon as I knew I was pregnant I cut out caffeine, including my beloved tea. :( I had really bad sickness all day and found that lucozade helped so I had a bottle or more each day of the lucozade sport and the normal one. I took the sport one to work each day. Stopped having lucozade so far through pregnancy and drank pepsi.
I dont know, but I blame Lucozade on me now having tinnitus in one ear. I got it during pregnancy and still have it 5 months on and now its in both ears. Doctors think its just an effect from the pregnancy and will go but I dont think it will, it just worsens. I'll never drink lucozade again.

My little boy is fine, I dont think he has had any side effects whatsoever, he seems like a normal baby.

I tried swapping to caffeine free but it's also sugar free which I totally couldn't stand! I needed the full fat stuff so just drank what I wanted - I never went overboard though, I doubt I went over the safe limit. Fran is absolutely fine - a cheeky little princess xx

I drank a lot of caffeine at the end. Like a cup or two of coffee per day and sometimes a Pepsi on top of that. I was just so exhausted from not getting any sleep that I couldn't function, and my doctor was actually the one who told me to go ahead and have some if I couldn't have a nap. He said I could have up to three cups of coffee per day.

No effects on my baby that I can tell. He sleeps great, is aware and bright eyed, has no issues with breast feeding, etc. I guess I don't really know what the effects would even be?

My midwife told me that after the first trimester caffiene isn't a big deal. She told me provided I am not drinking five cups of coffee a day I have nothing to worry about.

I would worry more about the sugar in soda.

I didn't drink much in the 1st tri but I drank loads diet sodas 2nd and 3rd tri. Had a coffee every morning and LO is just fine! Sweet little boy! X

Oh goodness. With my 14 mth old daughter-i got through 3 x 6packs a week:blush: They were even worse as they were diet sodas! I just craved pepsi max or orange soda!

There are faaaaaaaaarrrr worse things you could be up to!

I had at least a can of coca cola a day whilst pregnant. It is totally my vice.

My son is very hyper but no more than any other boy, and he's always slept well.
